Let’s revisit one of our case studies: a successful project management assistance mission!
OBJECTIVES :
As part of the modernisation of its helicopter blade manufacturing facilities, AIRBUS HELICOPTERS has decided to relocate its La Courneuve site to a new location in Dugny & Bonneuil-en-France. This strategic project aimed to increase production capacity while optimising the site’s operational efficiency.
To support this complex project, ALPHARE-FASIS was called upon to provide its expertise, particularly in the plant design phase and the preparation of the ICPE regulation application in the initial stages.
MISSIONS REALISED :
ALPHARE-FASIS provided technical support at several levels throughout the project.
Initially, the team assisted the project management team, comprised of the firms TECHNIP and CARDETE HUET, in the design of the plant. This included analysing and incorporating applicable regulatory requirements, particularly those related to safety and the environment, as well as integrating risk prevention principles, including domino effects.
Concurrently, ALPHARE-FASIS was tasked with preparing the ICPE regulation application, a crucial document for obtaining the necessary permits from the relevant authorities. This task involved close coordination with all the subcontractors specialising in various impact studies, such as biodiversity assessments, acoustic studies, soil investigations, and lighting risk analysis. The team also maintained regular communication with administrative services, including the DRIEE, water authorities, and public inquiry commissioners, to ensure the application complied with all regulatory requirements.
Ultimately, ALPHARE-FASIS followed up on the case after it was filed with the Prefecture, providing the necessary answers to the requests of the competent authorities.
APPLICABLE REGULATIONS :
This project was designed in strict compliance with the Environmental Code, as well as the applicable standards for classified installations for environmental protection.
